Hanggang sa Muli, Elder Salapa…

May 31, 2008

Who is the ward missionary who loves music so much? He is also member of the prestigious UPLB Ensemble, our ward pianist, our choir master and arranger who composed the ward missionaries’ theme song “Today I will Prepare”. Guess who?

Yes… He is no other than, Ryan Neal Salapa. He was called to serve a full-time mission in Philippines Cauayan Mission on May 31, 2008 to sing the song of redeeming love of our Heavenly father and Jesus Christ to the people who are prepared by the Lord to listen to the restored gospel.
Prior to his MTC entry date, he left an inspiring message to all the choir members.
“Oh well, I guess this will be my last arrangement for this choir before I leave for mission. I hope you’ll like it. I testify to you that through our own personal faith we can witness the miracles in our lives. Let us not fear the things that the world may offer us, rather be a living witness of faith, by trusting our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in everything that we do.
They deserve only the best! I know you can give the best for Him.
May God bless each one of you as you sing this piece with all your heart, might, mind and strength.
Memorize this piece and always remember “ISABUHAY ANG MGA KANTA”.
I know it will make a lot of difference. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.”——Ryan Neal
Surely, we miss him so much but no need to worries because we all know that he’s in good hands.
